Bhindi Masala Recipe

Bhindi or you can say Okra.


I like Punjabi style bhindi with lot of onions.We can make bhindi with different style like Bhindi Do Pyaza, Bhindi Masala, Bhindi fry,Stuff Bhindi, Bhindi with gravy and many more.

But today I made bhindi masala. Simple and delicious recipe of Bhindi. You can enjoy it with Roti/Chapati/Parantha/Naan/Puri.

For Punjabi Bhindi Masala Recipe we need :

Bhindi :250 gm
Onion : sliced and chopped
Green chili :  2 Slit
Salt : As per taste
Red Chili powder : as per your spice level
Coriander powder : 1 tbsp
Amchur powder : 1/2 tsp
Sbji masala : 1 tsp
Oil :2 big spoon (I prefer mustard oil as it enhances the taste of Okra)

Procedure 

Take a kadahi or pan.Add 2 big spoon of Sarso oil (mustard oil).
Add chopped Bhindi into it.Fry it for 5 minutes.Then add onions which i used to cut in slices and green chilies.
Fry both bhindi and onions together for 1 more minute. 
Add all dry spices and cover the pan/kadai for few minutes.
You have to check and mix time to time.It will take around 5 more minutes and your special 

Bhindi Masala is ready to eat.

Today I am going to share kids most favorite Cheesy Baked Pasta recipe.Every Cheese lover going to love this.My kid is a fan of cheese. Everytime I make Cheese Pasta he starts jumping with joy.You must try this delicious and yummy baked pasta.


Usually kids avoid to eat vegetables.It is very hard for a mother how to give vegetables to their kid. Everytime a mom has to find a new way for the kids to enjoy their meal.

Hows your lockdown going on? We are just staying at home and enjoying eating a lot.

Its is really a tough time for everyone.But we should also cherish this time with family.As we all are so busy in our lives sometimes we forget to spend the quality time with our family.

It is he best time spend the quality time with your dear ones.

This Homemade cheese baked Pasta is a hit in my family.I hope you and your family will also enjoy this yummy meal with full of taste as well as lot of nutrients.


Baked Pasta is very easy and simple dish.You can enjoy it anytime.


It takes only 20 minute for this flavorsome Cheesy Vegetable Bake Pasta to get ready.

Ingredients for appetizing Pasta :

Penne Pasta /any pasta for your choice : 2 Cup
Red Pasta sauce or homemade with fresh tomatoes : 1 Cup
Red bell Pepper : 1/2 cup slice chopped
Green capsicum : 1/2 Cup slice chopped
Onion : 1 medium size sliced
Mexican shredded mozzarella Cheese /you can take any cheese of your choice
Olive Oil : 1 tbsp
Oregano : 1 tbsp
Red Chili Flakes : 1 tbsp
Garlic and parsley powder : 1/2 tbsp
Basil leaves crushed : 1/2 tbsp
Salt : As per taste

Take a pan and add enough water to boil pasta add some salt into it.

Take another pan and add olive oil into it the add sliced onions and all vegetables of your choice then saute for 1 minute.

Then add boiled pasta and tomato pasta sauce and mix well altogether.Now add salt ,oregano,chili flakes and garlic powder.

Then add crushed basil leaves into i and cook for another 2 minutes.

Now switch off the gas.


For Baking :

Preheat oven at 350 degree Fahrenheit.


Now add cheese on the top of cooked red sauce pasta.Now Put the pan into the oven for around 15-20 minutes till the cheese changes its color to light golden brown.

Now switch off the oven.remove the pan very safely as it will be too hot to handle at that time.

How to Blanch Vegetables and Mushrooms

Blanching is basically a cooking process in which the vegetables/fruits scaled first into the boiling water for a limited interval of time after then immediately transfer the boiled vegetables or fruits into either iced water or directly can be placed under the cold running water.

This blanching process maintains the quality of the food.The process of blanching maintains the color,nutrition, texture and the flavor of the vegetable or fruits.By doing blanch process we can store vegetables for later use.

We can freeze any vegetable or fruits like Mushrooms,Cauliflower, Broccoli, Spinach for later use by doing this.

How to Blanch Mushrooms ?


So here is the easy way to clean and cook Mushrooms.
1) For that we have taken fresh mushrooms and clean all the mushrooms under running water.

2) Now take a container filled with ice or cold water.Keep it aside.

3) Then take a pan and fill it with water and boil it on the gas.When it’s temperature reached to boiling point then add Mushrooms into it And cook for 10-20 seconds 

4) Switch off the gas.

5) Now immediately transfer boiled mushrooms into that ice water or you can put that mushrooms under the cold running water.This process is called as Blanched Mushrooms.

You can blanch any fruit or vegetable like this way.The blanching process maintains the quality of food without losing its color, texture or flavor.

To maintain the quality of such vegetables or fruits this is the best process.

For Example If we blanch Spinach its green color will be more enhanced and the texture will be improved and the nutrients of Spinach will not be much compromised.

So I prefer doing blanching process for such vegetable and fruits.

Restaurant Style Mango Lassi


What if I ask Do you like Mango Lassi? 
You will say how stupid I am..

Mango Lassi is basically a Punjabi recipe which is a blend of fresh mangoes with yogurt/dahi. This is Kids and adults everyone's favorite drink to order in restaurants.

Lassi is an Indian drink which comes with lot of flavors.Some people like sweet  while some love to drink salty flavor of it.Some like thick cream layer on the top of meethi lassi and some like to drink chaas.

It is not even healthy but also delicious drink.If your kid does not like yogurt or mango then just try this Mango Yogurt smoothie.I promise your kid will ask for this yummy drink everyday.

So here we are talking about Mango sweet Lassi which we made with fresh Aam.In off season or if mangoes are not available then you can also use readymade Mango Pulp.


Ingredients:

Fresh Mangoes (1)
Plain Yogurt / Dahi : 1 Cup
Brown Sugar : 3 tbsp
Water : As needed
Ice : 2-3 pieces Optional 

For Garnishing :

Dry Fruits : Almonds,Cashew(finely chopped), raisins

How to make Restaurant Style Mango lassi ?

Take a blender.Add chopped fresh mangoes , fresh dahi and sugar.Now youu can add either water or 2-3 pieces of ice as per your requirement.Then blend all together and make it smooth.

Now take a glass and pour mango yogurt smoothie in the glass.

Now garnish it with chopped almonds and cashews.Then add Raisins or you can add any dry fruit of your own choice in this rich and flavorful smoothie.

Then top it with colorful tooti frooti. Now your sweet Mango Lassi Restaurant style is ready to drink.Serve it chill and enjoy your drink.

When we wake up in the morning we always think what should we make for breakfast.We usually get bore by eating same menu.so try this healthy breakfast recipe for Breakfast or you can eat it anytime when you are hungry.Avocado Sandwich is a quick and easy recipe.I promise kids will enjoy and love their sandwiches in this way.This is vegetarian Avocado Sandwich recipe.

For Avocado Sandwich we need below ingredients :

Whole Wheat Bread : 2 Slices /(you can take any bread as per your choice)
Avocado 1 (mashed )
Onion 1/2 finely chopped
Red bell Pepper : 1/4 cut in slices or chopped
Yellow bell pepper : 1/4 cut in slices or chopped
Green Chili : 1 finely chopped (optional)
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese : 1/4 cup 
Salt : As per Taste
Black Pepper : 1/4 tsp
Garlic Parsley Powder : 1/2 tbsp (optional)
Chili Flakes : As per taste (Optional)
Basil leaves : 1/2 tsp (optional)
Oregano : 1/tsp
Tomato Ketchup : 1 tbsp




Avocado Sandwich Recipes


Procedure :

Take a bowl.Add mashed Avocado into it and add all the veggies including onion and bell peppers.

Mix them well together and all the spices into that mixture.Keep it aside.I prepared this Avocado Sandwich Indian Style.You can also add vegetable of your own choice to make more rich and healthy.

Take the whole wheat bread slices and apply one side of each bread with ketchup.
Now take one of them and apply Avocado mix on the top of it.Add shredded  cheese on it.
Then add little oregano and chili flakes and cover with another slice of bread.

Now you have two options. Either you can make it using gas or you can grill it in the toaster.
Apply ghee/Butter on both sides and put it in toaster or you can make it on tawa/pan.

It will take 3-4 minutes and your Avocado Sandwich is ready.You can enjoy it with hot tea in breakfast or as a snack in evening.

Tip :

You can apply butter on the slices of bread if you want.It will enhance the taste and flavor of Avocado Sandwich

Suji ke Golgappe

Hello  foodies

Today I made everyone's favorite Suji Ke GolGappe

It is very famous Indian street food and is the fovorite one for almost every women in the country.In some cities it is known as Puchka ,somewhere it is known pani puri and also pani ke batashe. In english is is called as Water balls.

GolGappa is a mouth watering dish filled with many kind of water as per choice.Some people love its Teekha taste while some like meetha.It's water is basically some kind of tangy and spicy.

So friends Today I am going to share you the recipe of Suji ke GolGappe.

Ahaaaaa....
Chatori Gali se nikalkar Sedha muh me
Aa gaya na muh me pani

Indian Chaat recipe
North Indian favorite chaat Golgappe

Its very simple.So here are the ingredients list:-

 Suji :  500 gm
Salt   :1/2 tsp
Water : 1 Cup Hot
Baking Powder : 1/2 tsp
Oil : for frying
Cutter : oval shape/round shape

Procedure :

Now we have to take a bowl a wet cloth and mix all the ingredients together and need to add little water for making a tight dough.Now keep the dough aside for around 20 minutes.Remember to cover it by a wet cloth.

Now again knead the dough till it get little soft after then take the roller pin and roll into thin and round shape.

If you have any oval shape cutter then take it and cut it into pieces with the help of that cutter or you can take any little round shape cutter or any small size cap for making pani puris.

Cover all the puris with a wet cotton cloth.

Take a pan or kadahi and put oil it.Now switch on the gas and let the oil hot completely on medium flame.Now fry the puri one by one.

Puris are ready now.

Restaurant style Mughlai Gobhi Recipe

Dhaba Style Muglai Gobi Ki Sabji


Mughlai gobhi is a tangy and delicious dish. Gobhi cooked in tangy and spicy gravy made up with onion, tomato,green chilli and ginger garlic paste and lot of spices.

 Mughlai gobhi is a tasty and delicious vegetarian recipe. This Gobhi basically cooked in the smooth paste of tomatoes,onion, green chillies, ginger and garlic.Everyone at my home loves this recipe.


Basically Muglai Gobi includes gobi but i also add some potatoes as we love eating both of them.
This dhaba style gobhi really mouth watering and I am sure you will also love it.





Ingredient List :

1 cup blanched cauliflower 
1 cup parboiled potato
2 tomato puree
1 onion finely chopped
1/3 cup curd
3-4 cloves of garlic
1 small piece ginger
2 green chilies (optional)

Whole spices :

1 Bayleaf
2-3 cloves
2-3 green cardamom
7-8 whole black pepper
1 small piece of cinnamon stick

Dry Masala powder :

Salt to taste

Turmeric powder 1 Tbsp
Kashmiri red chili powder 1 Tbsp 
Coriander powder 2 Tbsp
Garam masala 1 tbsp
kasoori methi 1 tbsp

Blanching process :
Now at first we need to blanch florets of cauliflower then small cut pieces of potatoes. For that we have to boil the water and add gobhi pieces into that water.keep it for 10 minutes then immediately add all the gobi into cold ice water.This process is called blanching.Same we will be doing for our potatoes.Now both Gobhi and potatoes are almost half cooked.we will keep them aside and will prepare for the gravy.

For Gravy :


Now we will take a pan and add some oil into it then add whole spices cardamom, dalchini, sabut kali mirch and tej patta. Saute it for few seconds then add onions and ginger garlic paste and fry till onion turned to light brown color.Now we have to add tomato, green chilli paste into it and mix them well.Add all dry spices salt, kashmiri red chilli powder, dhania powder, jeera powder and give a nice mix.Now Cover the pan and cook the masala for around 10-15 minutes till the oil separates.


After then add curd and stir continuously on low flame.Cover the pan and cook for 5 more minutes.Now open the pan and check our gravy leaves the oil then add Gobi and potatoes into this gravy and mix it well.At last we will add garam masala and kasoori methi to give it a nice flavor.Now cook for another 5 minutes.


Super delicious dhaba style Mughlai Gobhi is ready to eat.Serve it hot with chapati or Naan .This recipe of gobhi gives a spicy and tangy flavor and it has a nice aroma of all the spices.
