How to blanch vegetables ?
Blanching is basically a cooking process in which the vegetables/fruits scaled first into the boiling water for a limited interval of time after then immediately transfer the boiled vegetables or fruits into either iced water or directly can be placed under the cold running water.
This blanching process maintains the quality of the food.The process of blanching maintains the color,nutrition, texture and the flavor of the vegetable or fruits.By doing blanch process we can store vegetables for later use.
We can freeze any vegetable or fruits like Mushrooms,Cauliflower, Broccoli, Spinach for later use by doing this.

How to Blanch Mushrooms ?
So here is the easy way to clean and cook Mushrooms.
1) For that we have taken fresh mushrooms and clean all the mushrooms under running water.
2) Now take a container filled with ice or cold water.Keep it aside.
3) Then take a pan and fill it with water and boil it on the gas.When it’s temperature reached to boiling point then add Mushrooms into it And cook for 10-20 seconds
4) Switch off the gas.
5) Now immediately transfer boiled mushrooms into that ice water or you can put that mushrooms under the cold running water.This process is called as Blanched Mushrooms.
You can blanch any fruit or vegetable like this way.The blanching process maintains the quality of food without losing its color, texture or flavor.
To maintain the quality of such vegetables or fruits this is the best process.
For Example If we blanch Spinach its green color will be more enhanced and the texture will be improved and the nutrients of Spinach will not be much compromised.
So I prefer doing blanching process for such vegetable and fruits.
